I have got a canon 1d mk IV and a 300 2,8 L is lens + a 1,4 teleconverter, a nice bird setup which isīnt too heavy. The rest is practice and luck (specially the last).

She's definitely a 'he'. Males have that pink and grey coloration. :)

Super pic.:) A shame it was a firecrest though. Mine thrive on a diet of pigeons (female) and starlings (male). :thumb: They are always welcome! :o

Thank you Chrissy, i have swallows who chase both sparrowhawks and kestrels away if they come to close to their nests, they are fearless.

Interesting that they take pigeons, i thought they were to small for that.
