Hi all,

The six pens on this list are fresh from my workbench, they have all
have been restored inside and out and are ready to fill with ink and
use.

If you see one or more pens that you like, please reply to me at:

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, shipping,
etcetera" at the bottom of this post.

Pen #1. c.1925 Wahl #76 oversize fountain pen in BCHR "Dart" pattern.
The chasing is nice and crisp on this pen. It has some very slight
discoloration, which you can see best in the photo of the pen with the
cap off. I elected not to polish the trim on this pen, but I did do a
very light hand polish with a liquid polish. The trim is not brassed,
but it does have typical micro scratches from normal use. The nib is a
large very smooth writing Fine #6 Wahl Signature in 14K. It has a huge
#22 size ink sac. Capped the pen measures 5 3/8 inches or 13.7 cm.
With the exception of the noted discoloration the pen is in Excellent
condition. I struggled with myself to prevent putting this pen in my
personal collection. My decision to offer the pen for sale was that I
bought an odd version of a #76 a few months ago, that is the same
diameter, but a bit shorter, with no cap band and nickel clip and
lever.

Price $395.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

2. ~SOLD~ to A.L.

1928 Waterman's No. 52 in smooth black hard rubber with gold filled
trim. The pen has fairly even moderate discoloration of the hard
rubber, which you can see best in the photo of the pen with the cap
off. When I bought the pen it had an Aikin Lambert nib, A.L.Co. was
owned by Waterman's. I thought about replacing it with the correct
Waterman's nib, but it is a top quality nib and writes nicely, so I
decided to leave this incorrect nib in the pen. The nib is a smooth
writing Flexible fat Fine with a bit of stub to it. You can achieve a
broad line with light pressure. I elected not to polish the gold
filled trim on the pen, so it has micro scratches from normal use and
a bit of brassing on the ball of the clip. I view it as part of the
character of the pen, from use and time. I did a light hand polish on
the hard rubber, to remove some of the corrosion on the HR and help
protect the rubber. Capped the pen measures 5 3/8 inches or 13.7 cm.
The pen is what Waterman's collectors refer to as a double imprint, it
has the regular barrel imprint, plus an imprint that wraps partway
around the end of the barrel. I have been watching prices increase
dramatically on eBay for old hard rubber pens in restored condition.
Many seem to be selling in the $200.00 to $400.00 plus range. I'm just
saying...

~SOLD~ to A.L. $165.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

3. 1950's Sheaffer's Sovereign White Dot TM thin model Touchdown
fountain pen, with stainless cap and gold filled clip. This model is
the same diameter as the later Snorkel model, just lacking the Snorkel
tube. The only flaws I found on this pen are a couple of bite marks in
the milling on the blind cap. I installed a new ink sac and o-ring
gasket on the inside of the barrel and the pen fills well. The nib is
a standard open two tone very smooth writing Medium and seems to have
a bit of a nice stub-ish effect with the lines. It has a very nice
thin/thick line variation and lays down a nice wet line. The clip has
no brassing. When photographing the pen, I turned one of my lights off
to get truer to life color of the barrel. If you like stubby medium
nibs, I think you would like this one.

Price $125.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
