At the same store where I found the writing desk, I found this DayTimer Desk size ring agenda binder in a tan leather. It is an older "Western Coach" design that does not seem to be available in exactly the same version as this one anymore. All the pages are clean but the re-order numbers are no longer valid. There seems to have been a personalized name plate on it at one time. It was still sticky so I guess it was recently removed. I got the sticky stuff off and may put my own on. I know I have some here somewhere. I thought it was cool and for $3, I was not going to pass it up. I am looking at a hole puncher in the DayTimer format that might come in handy. The devider tabs across the top really caught my eye.

Gee this has a lot of character. I love the silky/cotton watermark look of the insides and the leather cover.
You'll just have to put your own name plate on it or have your name embossed into the rectangle where it was.

What size is it ? It appears to be A4 or letter.

The only problem i can see is being a 7 ring binder. Is the spacing between the middle rings and the rest slightly different or just my eyes ?
Personally I don't really like the look of the metal ring mechanism and would want to replace it with something else cause the cover is so attractive.

Another great stationery find.

The people in that shop must be starting to set this sort of stuff aside for you.

The DayTimer site puts the desk size at 5.5"x8.5" or 140 mm x 216 mm. Rhodia #16 pages fit nicely in it.

Yeah, the rings are a proprietary spacing. You need to get the DayTimer hole puncher. :puke: Only bad thing about it, but it is the same with a lot of other planners.

mmm could fit a B6 but too small for A6.
I'll have to check my stationery boxes to see if there is a Rhodia #16 in the stockpile.

Proprietary hole spacing ! :jester:
These stationers are nearly as bad as the Sony Minidisc/MP3 boys and their enjoyment of creating a new USB/dock connector for every 2nd model they produced. Atleast Apple has had the sense to keep the same plug for its stuff.

But this is the same spacing for ALL organizers. I used to be a DayTimer freak but I didn't always use DayTimer refills. Sometimes I'd use DayRunner or Franklin Covey. And once I used some generic thing I found online.

But I have a number of binders lying around. I'd sort of moved on to Arc and Circa, but maybe I should dig them out.

Really? I had no idea. I am going to have to dig out my Franklin Covey punch!!! Thank you!
