Hello there!
I have a question about the two-part feed of my LAMY Safari. In my quest to increase the net ink flow (not just the ink flow of the nib), I've experimented with removing the small slider part of the feed. My first impression was that the ink flow increased by a bit. But then I've re-installed it and I'm not even sure if the flow is greater than before or not.
Does anyone know why this part is detachable at all and what its significance is? Any experience with ink flow with respect to the presence of this part?
