Hey there, I see many familiar names/ faces/ avatars here.
I know many of you from FPN, Pentrace, Zoss, etc.
I've been collecting fountain pens since 1995. I started with Pelikan 800-family pens, particularly the LE's.
A couple years later, I discovered the even wider world of vintage.
I still collect both vintage and modern. I usually carry modern pens day-to-day, since they are generally easier to replace than special vintage ones.
I have around a thousand pens now, and particularly focus* on:
Modern: Bexley, particularly the Poseidon family; Omas Tokyos; the chunkier Deltas; Lamy Safaris
Vintage: Early (pre-1935, but the earlier the better) Waterman; LeBoeuf; Esterbrook (everything); Sheaffer PFM; Sheaffer Tuckaway; Sheaffer Petite Balance; Sheaffer Signature/ Autograph; Wahl Bantams
Looking forward to spending some time here,
greg
* I know, this is clearly not much of a "focus." :)

KIRKLAND! :)
I'm moving to Kirkland in two weeks! (Actually two weeks from today the truck gets filled with our stuff!) :) Perhaps it is time to form a Kirkland pen club!
(I was born in Michigan, have lived in Texas for almost 7 years)

Hola! I'm based down in Renton, so not too far away from your neck of the woods.

Welcome, Greg! I can't comprehend that many pens, but I am impressed. Having just shown the Lovely Ms. Marie most of my meager accumulation just last week, I am no longer apprehensive. I can always tell her that I know a guy with a thousand pens!

I keep my nicer Waterman pens in this old dealer cabinet.

I keep most of the rest of the pens in a re-purposed blueprint cabinet. I joke with my wife that if I ever outgrow this case, I'll need to be able to live in it.

It holds A LOT of pens. Here is an older pic of one of my Esterbrook drawers:

Welcome,Greg! I'm envious of those printer's cabinets, but I know I'll never have that many pens
in my collection!
I remember you from the "other" pen forum.

Welcome to the madness, though I think you've been down that road well enough on your own. Somehow I feel much better about my 20 pens;) Anyway, I'm sure someone with 1000 pens has a lot of knowledge to go along with them - I'm looking forward to learning about your pens and yourself!
