Gorgeous ink! It looks like a darker Ambre de Birmanie.

I know this ink is called Shoreline Gold, but that isn't really Shoreline Gold. Regardless, a very nice looking ink :)

One of my big favourites for flow as well as appearance. I shall certainly be buying another bottle before the current one runs out.

Apparently there have been some pronounced colour variations between batches (Stephen's Inkcyclopedia entry (http://fpgeeks.com/inkcyclopedia/inkcyclopedia-private-reserve-shoreline-gold-you-can-win-this/) goes into that), but my sample looks pretty much the same as Heath's.

It's a gorgeous colour, it's just not what I would call Shoreline Gold. Pretty close but, at the same time, not the same thing.

Regardless, it looks like a lovely ink, I like it!

No, I've never really understood the name either. It clings nicely to a dip nib, by the way ... come to think of it do you want a sample?

Looks very nice. How does it compare to Caran d'Ache's Saffron? I'm due to run-out of that soon, and would love a replacement.
