Not to be confused with a Pen Posse at Peter's Cafe which is essentially the same thing, Farmboy claims to have a new Nib Flossing Technique and he has offered to discuss said technique.

Sunday April 27th

1:00 pm

Peter's Cafe

10 El Camino Real
Millbrae, CA 94030

I'm just posting this event for Farmboy. I take no responsibility for what happens. :-)

Back channel communications:

Ricky: "Should we be afraid?"
Todd: "Even I tremble at the thought."

Oh My. Are you the Peachez from another forum far far away? With art?

I once got a card from someone that you had painted.

Your work was exhibited on my wall until I packed the shop for the big move.

How long do these last? I would really like to attend one of these.

It depends.

We usually start around 1:00 pm and the last people usually leave around 5:00-5:30 pm. This is typical for most of the recent gatherings. Some have gone much later. A few have ended around midnight with the place having kicked us out while we finished standing in the parking lot.

Special Pen Posses have different timetables depending on the nature of the gathering.

Thanks much, I need to schedule this with my better half, and this gives me an idea of how long. Not sure if this weekend will work or not, but I will throw this out and at least sew the seeds for another time.

OK, won't be able to make this one, the way things are playing out, but I would really like to attend one at some point, if I am welcome.

Thanks for the info.

Aww, that's nice. I still paint and I still sell them and make cards. Good to know it was appreciated.

I'm going to be there hoping for some guidance with a barrel and/or a piston mechanism... Looking forward to it. Not sure if I'll get to Flax, though.

Need to poke it with a stick... but it needs to be a special stick...

This was a lot of fun. Thanks much to whomever set this up and to all for the welcoming atmosphere. I think my wife ended up a little alarmed at the number of pens I am still thinking about purchasing. Really nice to try out nibs I'd heard of and options I hadn't considered yet.

I do have to say, though, your floss scares me, FarmBoy. Reminds me of the files I used to clean points with.

Probably won't be able to make it to Flax, but I'll definitely want to make it to more of these.
