This is the nib on my Stipula DaVinci. It isnt steel but it is 1.1mm.

Thanks, It seems that the steel nib is more an Italic rather than a stub, since it seems that ther's not any tipping. How do you compare the gold stub vs the steel one?

Well I have a Passporto, with a 1.1 nib which I am going to sell because I have never written with it. I found the nib scratchy. The pictured nib is woonderfully smooth. However, I think I was just unlucky with the passporto nib. I have a 1.1 nib on a Lamy Safari and it is probably on a par with the da vinci nib.
