Hi There,
There are a few very Limited edition pens that were manufactured by this quintessentially American brand, and that too, surprisingly, in collaboration with Russain artists, with motifs picked up from Arabia and it's folk tales.
Pens Plus was privileged to have bexley manufacture 25 pieces of FP of different themes in 2004.
This is one of that lot, pristine, only dipped to test, and simply an amazing FP.
Oversized is an understatement and you need large hands to get a complete feel of the size as it's not only long (I think 6" +) but the girth is a commanding one too.
The barrel has a beautiful and handcrafted/handpainted motif done by russian artists. This one has Aladdin on the magic carpet.
It has this beautiful grey/black pearl resin that is not completely opaque. Has some amount of translucence making it look even better.
The nib is a beautiful bi-tone gold 18K Broad one.
The Limitation number is 12/25.
Comes with outer cover / inner box / certificate of authenticity, in short all the paraphernalia.
You actually have to hold it to realise the beauty and ostentation of the FP.
Collector's item for sure.
