I haven't posted in a while - too busy to make many pens lately, though that part of my year is, thankfully, coming to a close. I have finished a couple of pens, though. Here is an oversized Gallatin that I made from my Brown Cow polyester resin. Visually, this may be my favorite resin that I make. This is a very large pen, with 16mm cap threads. I really love the size, and may have to make myself one of these soon.

That pen is simply bursting with character!! Really cool, thanks fpr sharing with us. Certainly an apt name for the material.

Fine looking pen, I really like the proportions, too.

I love the size - and how it is still a lovely shape. Would be an awesome pen for some of my arthritic patients. Or me, just because.

Cool material, too!

Nice pen as usual. I must say though that I still prefer my Gallatin in blue and orange. It's a piece of art and stunning to use.

I love your Brown Cow, too! Can that sort of patterning be done in alumilite? :)

Thanks everybody!

Not exactly, at least not yet. The working characteristics of the two resins are different enough that I can't make a pattern like this in the same way with alumilite. I hope to figure it out someday though...
