Hey all.

I'm working on the Lamy 80 Profil I picked up yesterday, and I'm having trouble figuring out how to remove the feed from the section. Does it push out through the back, or get knocked out through the front? Is it two pieces, or is the bottom piece part of the section and not removable?

Looking at the pictures down the link, I'd say the "chin" is part of the section, and the feed itself backs out, like a 2000.

Speaking of which, is this your mysterious 45 minute drive Lamy of another thread, Paul?

Thank you, cwent2 :thumb: I found that thread as well, and it was a bit of help, but left me wondering. I also found this picture stream on flickr, but still wasn't sure how to take this apart:

Hay Ernst :) There is a clear separation between the "chin" as you say and the feed, but I couldn't get the feed to budge. I ended up soaking it overnight in pen cleaner and water, and then flushed with a rubber bulb.

And yeah, this was one of the 45 minute drive pens. Unfortunately the what I thought was a decorative line on the section, turned out to be a crack.
