Newbie From O'Fallon, Illinois!

Greetings and salutations, one and all! I joined this forum last year, but work, life, other online forums have prevented me from participating. I caught the fountain pen bug several years ago, and to date I've amassed a modest collection of 60+ pens. I generally seek out vintage American pens (Love Parker 51s!), but I will buy just about anything that catches my eye. Like many of you I need to keep this hobby self-sustaining, and I will likely be selling some pens in order to focus my collection and finance new purchases.

We're glad to hear from you. I even have more than half an idea of where you're from, since I have family in Belleville. Unfortunately, you don't have many pen options down there. My only successes have been at some of the antique malls, where I sometimes find pens worthy of repair.

All the same, we need the Midwesterners to balance out both coasts. . .
