Hi all,

I pulled some pens from my personal collection and am offering them
for sale. I need to make a bit of room for other pens. I checked them
over and did a bit of touch up polishing on some of them and smoothed
a couple of the nib tips. All of them had fresh ink sacs installed and
are ready to fill with ink and use.

If you see one or more pens that you like, please reply to me at:

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, shipping,
etcetera" at the bottom of this post.

Pen #1. c. 1923 oversize Sheaffer's pre-White Dot Lifetime oversize
flat top in black lined hard rubber. The pen has some light
discoloration to the HR. There is a about a 1.5 mm lip crack in the
cap. Also the ball of the clip has brassing across it. The vertical
lines in the HR are distinct, but the barrel imprint has some wear.
The nib is about a fat Extra Fine or Fine. It is a very smooth rigid
nib. Capped the pen measures 5 3/8 inches or 13.5 cm. It is not a
perfect example, but not bad overall.

Price $325.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

2. 1940's Croxley fountain pen in green and black pearl. These pens
were made in England. I have always liked the Art Deco stepped chevron
clip and lever tab on these. There is a bit of brassing down the
center ridge on the lever. The nib is a smooth Extra Fine 14 Ct. with
a bit of flex. Capped the pen measures 4 15/16 inches or 12.5 cm. It
is what I would classify as a standard size pen in length and
diameter. This is a really beautiful pen with a high cool factor!

Price $165.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

3. 1940's Valentine fountain pen in gray pearl with correct black hard
rubber cap. These were made during World War II when materials were in
short supply. I think they were saving on plastics by making the caps
out of BHR and only using the plastics they had on hand for the
barrels. That is just a guess on my part. It is a button fill pen with
a BHR blind cap. The clip has typical brassing on the ball. The cap
has light discoloration. The nib is a smooth writing flexible Fine
14Ct. Capped the pen measures 5 inches or 12.8 cm. Parker eventually
bought out Valentine sometime in the 1940's. It's a cool pen and
somewhat out of the ordinary.

Price $150.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

Rules, Shipping, Etc.

The usual rules apply, the person sending the first e-mail on an item
~stating intent to purchase~ gets the item. I will give you 5 days to
decide if you like the pen or not. I prefer payment by PayPal but also
accept checks or money orders in USD. I can only accept payment by
PayPal from countries outside the U.S. I ship worldwide, so
international customers are always welcome.

Prices are post paid in the U.S., and will be shipped with a tracking
number and insurance. I normally ship inside the U.S. by U.S.
Postal Service Priority Mail. I can also ship to other countries by
Priority Mail, but I prefer to ship by Express International Mail. I
have to charge by Express International Mail, depending on which
country the item will be sent to, but it can be insured and can
usually be tracked online.

Return Policy: I will always allow pens, or other items, to be
returned. If there is a problem I would prefer the chance to fix the problem
or replace the item, when and if possible. Otherwise a full refund
will be offered. If you find a problem and choose to send the item
(pen, mechanical pencil, etc.) to someone else to be corrected, I will
not be responsible for any other problems.

Happy penning!
