View Full Version : SATURDAY PEN SALE REALLY MIXED BUNCH

Okay, wasn’t going to do a sale today, but Charlie (my 8 year old, for those who do not know) asked me if he could help pick pens for the sale. (well, then he asked if he could have the money some of these generate, lol… so I told him he could have “some”.

He has been battling a health issue for about 6 weeks, that has made him fairly sick, and with numerous ER room visits, doctors visits, and several visits to a specialist, (the latest ER visit was this past Wednesday), but good news is we finally got a diagnosis that is seems to be leading to his getting better, so be happy for him.

He picked a cool bunch, so if there isn’t anything there for you, blame him!
He kept a nice gray marble lockdown vacumatic, seems he has taken a liking to them, so that didn’t make the sale.

Well, enjoy this one, ask questions, all these are rebuilt and working. Any issues I have done my best to note.

Paypal works best, if you find you want a pen, please send me an email (no private messages) at: ckrantz3@msn.com

First “I want it” gets it.

Shipping charges are as follows….
USPS Domestic $3.00
USPS International $10.00

For one pen or several of them, you pay one time postage charge.

Thanks for looking, ask any questions you may have.

C1 The Todd Pen “Traveler” (Edward Todd) Eyedropper filler, nice clean pen, wrong nib, it happens to have a nice stub semi flex 14K Blackbird (Mabie Todd Swan) nib. Writes well. ITEM PRICE $75

C2 Iridium (maybe “Keystone” ? ) no name pen. Large pen, awesome woodgrain style plastic, maybe third tier, but nice pen, and it has a huge #6 warranted semi flex nib, that writes great. ITEM PRICE $75

C3 Esterbrook J in green, Lever fill, rebuilt, fills, writes, 9550 nib. ITEM PRICE $25

C4 Esterbrook J in black, lever fill, rebuilt, fills, writes, few light bite marks, 9555 nib, ITEM PRICE $25

C5 Esterbrook LJ in green, lever fill, rebuilt, fills, writes, 9550 nib ITEM PRICE $25

(add a 9314-B to your estie for an extra $10)

C6 Eversharp Pacemaker? Lever fill, visulated section, equipped with an “eversharp” 14k fine marked “flexible” nib, and it is flexible. Cool pen, this has the double threaded section/ink view window, however, suffered some shrinkage, slight off center, does not affect performance, but this is kind of a hard to find pen. Some wear to the lever, but otherwise the trim is in good shape. ITEM PRICE $75

C7 Wahl Oxford in black, lever fill, nice warranted 14K fine point. Writes nice, some character. ITEM PRICE $40

C8 Eversharp skyline Moire standard size, not the shorter model, in silver/gray stripe. Nice pen, some wear to lever, otherwise clip trim is clean. This has a nice semi flex eversharp 14K fine nib. Here is the issue, it writes nice, but has a tiny stress crack from the vent hole. I will warranty this, as I feel it has some life in it. I have a replacement for it, and although it is a similar style, it simply does not write as nice as this one. If you buy this, I will either swap it out now, swap it out later if it happens to crack, send it along, whatever you like. ITEM PRICE $75

C9 Sheaffer lifetime in black, military clip, lever fill. Nice writer, most of two tone mask worn off nib, otherwise, fills, writes, firm fine lifetime 14K nib, the clip is a slight bit loose, otherwise it is a real nice pen. ITEM PRICE $35

C10 Parker 51 Aerometric in teal blue, nice clean pen, cap is in great condition retains most all of the frosting. Press 4 times filler, medium 14K nib, super clear sac ITEM PRICE $75

C11 Parker 75 (???) Pencil. I *think* this is a 75 pencil, you decide. Nice clean, working. ITEM PRICE $15

C12 Parker 21 aerometric fill in gray. Nice clean pen, really writes nice. It is a fine point alloy nib, but really a lot of bang for the buck. ITEM PRICE $20

Just realised that I did not read the OP carefully and that my earlier posting is terribly insensitive. Please accept my apologies, Rick. Your son's health is of course infinitely more important than my disappointment at missing a sale.

If I get C1, it will be my 'Charlie' pen. I am happy that Charlie has turned the corner with his health issues. My prayers to you and your family.

thanks guys for all the well wishes. (and no offense taken from the disappointed poster above, all good!)

Seems we made some ground with Charlie, but as it goes two steps forward one step back. Again, we find that we had a mid week ER visit, but he seems to be felling a bit better. As it is, he has different doctors with each one trying to prescribe a different medication, and the next one tells us to stop with this prescription and try this. It is frustrating to say the least. He is in good spirits, and has been increasingly active. I am hoping we can get past this.

We have another appointment this coming Wednesday, with a GI doctor, hoping for good news.

Hoping for a good recovery, He is looking forward to the DC show.(as well as me!)

Best!
Rick
