Montblanc 220, woodgrain/brushed, broad stub, semi-flex

For sale Montblanc 220 Woodgrain, semi-flex broad nib.

This pen has the woodgrain appearance very similar to the Lamy 2000, but skinner and by the famous Montblanc brand of course. I believe this mode was made in the 60s-70s.

Pen is in very good condition. 2 Montblanc white stars on cap and bottom of pen.

Features of 14k white gold nib (not steel). This pen was sold to me as a double-broad nib, but I believe it writes more like a broad-stub nib, with broad down strokes and much thinner horizontal strokes.

I consider this nib to be semi-flexible. The tines spread apart relatively easily and puts down a much wider line when flexing. (Look at picture for normal vs. flex writing)

The nib has a slight bent to it (see pictures), but pen still writes well, more on the wet side.

Piston-filler, works great.

In my opinion, this pen is light enough to be used posted and unposted.

Price: $85 + $3 shipping CONUS, Paypal only. Or best offer.
