Let me start by saying that Naomi's customer service is wonderful. When I messaged her to ask if the paper she uses in her personalized/custom notepads were fountain pen friendly she admitted she did not know but offered to send me a few sheets to try. I received her package today and it blew me away!
In the envelope she included ten sheets of the paper, two envies (one of each kind she offers) and two sheets of the cardstock she uses for her notecards.
The paper is no Rhodia or tomoe river but I was quite impressed. The notepads measure about 5x7 and feel well weighted (less than clarirefontaine, heavier than 24 lb copy paper). Bleed through was minimal and shadowing was terrible either. I tested 10 pen and ink combos from some very well behaved combos to some notoriously misbehaved inks. Overall I was quite impressed.
