She/he's a beauty ... and looks mighty soft to stroke.

May I introduce to you: Susi, one half of the dynamic feline duo that brightens our life since February. Her hobbies include, among others, puking on the floor and the ongoing search for aesthetically pleasing sleeping positions.

I imagine most of you are familiar with Abbey Road. Unfortunately she suffered from Feline Lymphoma and died just a week before her first birthday.

Let me introduce Sunshine and Princess.

They were born in March and came to live with me when they were about 6 weeks old.

Now they are 3 months old and entering the Von Trapp stage of life where their mission is to ...

"Climb ev'ry mountain,
Search high and low,
Follow every byway,
Every path you know."

I don't know if I have done this right, but hopefully you can see a picture of Cleo (I will also try to post one of Dustin).

This is Doris, who came to live with us just over a year ago. She enjoys kneading, shouting, fishy pate, snoozing, licking, cheap ham, and bringing us live animals before 6am.

Lovely cat, KBeezie. What breed, please?

Blue Chartreuse, she barely ever makes a sound except a small squeak of sort when jumping onto something.

Brown tabby is Molly, ginger and white is Behemoth. He was smaller than her when we got him, and they assured us that he was already adult size. He more than doubled in size after we got him, and suits his name more than any pet I've ever known. We named him after a character in this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Master_and_Margarita) book.

Molly hates everything, but Behemoth most of all.

This is Callie, who is not quite a year old. She likes to sleep on my husband's chest and play with his beard while he tries to sleep.

Tsuki yo--that's funny about Behemoth. My Cleo just barely tolerates Dustin (which means "Brave and Bold," which he most certainly is not).

Earthdawn--Your mom's Cleo has a sweet face.

Tiffany--Callie has got some whiskers on her!

For some reason, I'm always the last one who gets to see new pens and inks. This is Buzz playing with ink samples, Rosy posing, and Clio with a ringtop. (Not sure how she even saw that tiny gold ring, let alone pick it up, but she really likes vintage Waterman.)

If Marlon Brando was alive, I'm sure he would post this photo to show his support for FP Geeks, so I'm doing it on his behalf. (Not that he talks to me or anything.)

Oh, he was so cute. Brando was, too. (My favorite version of Julius Caesar is the one with Brando.)

This rolling pin would make an ideal present for the cat & cookie lover.
http://www.thisiscolossal.com/2014/06/custom-engraved-rolling-pins/
The Colossal site shows a range of other designs & you can even have custom designs made (fountain pen nibs come to mind :)).

Polish designer Zuzia Kozerska (https://www.etsy.com/shop/ValekRollingPins) creates laser-engraved wooden rolling pins that print designs onto cookie dough. She has a number of standard designs available over on Etsy (https://www.etsy.com/shop/ValekRollingPins), but creates customized pins to order. (via Laughing Squid (http://laughingsquid.com/custom-engraved-rolling-pins-that-imprint-designs-into-dough/), swissmiss (http://www.swiss-miss.com/2014/06/engraved-rolling-pins.html))

Aww, that's a cute one! I used to have a cat who'd sleep under my blanket all night long, either at my feet or cuddled under my arm.

12334This, my friends, is 15 year old Giggy. Pronounced like Jiggy. However, when we got him home, within a matter of hours, he took such a liking to being petted and kissed on the head one of my friends called him a gigolo and a "had slut". He will do anything to be petted. Even pick up your hand by scooping it up with his own head and sitting there with your hand on his head.

We all laughed made comments about "Gettin' giggy with it" like the Will Smith song and he actually turned his head and meowed. So basically he named himself as a result of seeming to answer to Giggy, lol. We got him at the pound. We walked into the room where they had them all in cages and he was in one of the first. I didn't even seem him. He must have been in the back in the shadows. I walk by his cages and the next thing I know this adorable 2-3 week old orange Tabby paw is touching my upper arm through the cage and giving me the most adorable look, purr and warbling chirp I never heard a cat do. I opened the cage and took him out and did my own personal calm cat test which is holding them in my arms on their back like a little baby. He turned to mush, relaxed tail, purrs and all. I said ok, this is the one. I don't need to look anymore. He has been my cat buddy ever since.

In this picture he is giving me his best "Put that camera down and pet me, hoomin'!" look :)

Those who have experience in the dog show world, I call him my easty wesy kitty because of how he always has his paws pointing outwards when he sits :)

A test to see how observant you are:

Here is Sunshine as he watches the ball run around the raceway.

Looks like fun. But did you notice this?

And out pops the Princess ...

http://www.fototime.com/B7C5B877A967FF2/medium800.jpg

but does she see these?

But no kittens were harmed in this production.

This is Grady lee. I bring him in at night because he gets beat up. He's not as tough as he thinks he is. But he is as affectionate as any dog
