PIF- Faber Emtion pear wood finish

I have this pen and it is not my cup of java. It writes well has a medium stainless steel nib. I have the box and all it came with. I bought it new last fall. It needs to find some one who will love and use it. I would like it to go to some one who is new to fountain pens or would not be able to purchase a pen in the "$100" price range.

Candidates can PM me for my snail mail address and send me an illustrated letter telling me why they think they would be the best person for this pen. Humor is a plus..... Creativity a plus....

I'll pick a winner mid August.

I'll limit this to people is the United States and Canada because of postage.

This is a lovely pen. I have one with the medium and the matching pencil. I would say my set matches my sometimes stiff as a wood board personality. I like this as my camping pen and pencil. Very durable.

I'd like to suggest something: I think there may be people in other countries, outside the US and Canada, who would also qualify but you are excluding them because of postage. I'd like to offer to pay for postage to a recipient in another country, who would otherwise be excluded because of postage. That would open it up to people around the globe. I think there must be many newbies who would love to get a gift like that, and I want to help make it possible for you to include them. When the time comes, we can work out the details of this.

Wow, I can see that I pm'd you but neglected to pear that with a post on the board!

This does appear to be a pen that is ripe and ready to be plucked without the fear of going soft and mushy. This pen would pair up nicely with my other pens and my style of writing.

I've only had the Faber-Castell BASIC, but it's the same nib, and the Fine steel nib on them is one of the smoothest I've experienced.

I just returned from lecturing at a conference in Montreal and in my mail pile has a whole lot of letters.... It will not be easy to choose one.... some great creativity... I will read them through and weigh all the creativity and such.... there is still time to get a letter into me if it is post marked by August 15th.

Winner will be selected by August 30th.

It is a very smooth writer, I have had the pleasure of writing one letter so far with the pen. The nib is very nice providing just the right amount of feedback as it lays the ink on the page.
