I would like to show you an ebonite & urushi fountain pen I finished last week.
The ebonite body is finished with a technique called "chadô-nuri" imitating a worn suface of solid copper.
The stopper a small plume made of "takamakie" high relief urushi with a small diamond.
18 kt. gold nib by Bock, cap: Length 140.00 mm, diameter 20.00 mm, Barrel: Lenght 130.00 mm, diameter 16.00 mm, Weight: 34.00 gr
Kiseru (煙管 kiseru) is a Japanese smoking pipe traditionally used for smoking kizami, a finely shredded tobacco product resembling human hair. The word kiseru comes from the Khmer word "ksher".

Lovely. The feather adds a sweet touch to the pen.
