Hi fellow FPGs,
I bought this vintage Montblanc Monte Rosa 042 from a respected dealer overseas. It is as near to mint as a 50-year-old pen is going to be, although there are some micro scratches on the barrel, inevitable on a resin (plastic) pen. I have inked it once to try it out, but the nib is too small and firm for my taste. I am given to understand that green is a very rare color for this pen. The cap imprint is very sharp and reads MONTBLANC/Monte Rosa. The model number, 042G, is very clear as well at the base of the barrel.
The nib is 14K gold and is engraved MONTE ROSA 14c Montblanc 585.
The price of $220 includes insured priority shipping anywhere in the continental USA. Shipping overseas is at cost. Payment by PayPal is requested at exorcismcentral@gmail.com (it's a long story...).
