Set atop a 2009 IM are a (truly vintage) '39 Vacumatic, a Sonnet from 1990, and a 45 from 2004. All are in monthly rotation. They work best with less viscous inks -- Parker, Waterman, Pelikan. A true pleasure to own. In a separate photo an early 100 in black lacquer.

I like the Sonnet. The 45 color is nice.

Just confused by this statement:
"They work best with less viscous inks -- Parker, Waterman, Pelikan."
For me Waterman is a wet ink for use in dry pens, and Pelikan is a dry ink for use in wet pens.
These 2 inks are at opposite ends of the viscousity scale.

I have a blue Parker 45 and a green Parker 45. The blue one has a gold nib and the other a steel nib, but honestly, they both write wonderfully. I can't tell them apart when the nib hits the page.
