Just finished this up last night. This is the first of two pens I'm making for this customer. The main material is an acrylic from Richard Greenwald. The ink window was a bit of alumilite I cast myself and the section is black ebonite. Here are some of the finer details...

Dimensions:

Capped - 6 1/4"
Cap - 2 5/8"
Body + Nib - 6"

Threads:

Cap/Body - 14x.75mm Single Start
Section/Body - 10x1mm

Nib + Ink:

#6 Jowo Polished Steel - 1.1

Cartridge/Converter/Eyedropper

That is really nice. When you make an ink window, do you thread the transparent part into the solid part and then glue or do you just glue it all together and then turn the whole body?

Tony, when I do an ink window I'll thread both ends of the window into the solid body and epoxy them in place. The joint that creates is much safer when it comes time to turn, plus it gives a great seal if it were to be used as an eyedropper.
