Couldn't resist the comment about CO's legalization of pot, could you!? 'Higher' sales....was wondering when the Mile HIGH jokes would start! Don't let that either cause or deter your participation in the FIRST ANNUAL...we have great pen people here, too!

See you in Denver!!

Talked to the S.O. we are planning on taking the trip! I am super excited.

Also just for the curious, I reached out to John Mottishaw and he has NO plans of making the trip to Colorado. I hope we can get more vendors committed.

The more people mention the show to him (and others) the more likely they'll make plans to participate.

Ed, a member of the Colorado Pen Posse, is the one that organized this show. We already have some great vendors who have committed to coming to the show and Ed and other members of the Posse, as well as some nice folks "in the wild" who are attending other pen shows, are working hard to entice more exhibitors to come to Colorado.

The first pen show in Colorado, ever (as far as we could determine.) :dance3: We are going to make it a success and plan to make it an annual stop on the pen show circuit. This will be my first chance to attend a pen show so, needless to say, I am pretty excited about it!

I hope that everyone that can make it to the show will join us. October is a great time of year to visit Colorado!

I jus booked two nights at Doubletree last night. We are very excited! If anyone knows of a way to convince vendors (ie requesting by numbers) let us know how to do so. I have no problem spamming vendors to come. The more the merrier.

So excited to here you'll be making the drive Brewsky. As you might have seen, Colorado just rated #3 out of the 50 states for best places to drink beer.

For anyone looking for details they can be found (and tracked) here: www.coloradopenshow.com (http://www.coloradopenshow.com) or here: www.facebook.com/coloradopenposse (http://www.facebook.com/coloradopenposse) or here: twitter.com/ColoPenPosse (http://twitter.com/ColoPenPosse).

I know they are busy at the show ...

But i just got an email from Ed Capizzi who's running the show that the box of Fountain Pen Swag arrived.

Be in the look out.. it may be at the door or just handed out at the tables... not sure.

BUT if you are there and spot some swag please take a pic and share it.

Hope everyone lucky enough to go has a great time!

I was there today and had such a great time!! It was my first pen show ever, so I was impressed with how full the room was - the sheer selection was overwhelming! And there is virtually no real pen presence in Colorado, so to finally see all these great pens in person was so amazing. Best of all, I walked away with my Grail Pen - I SO want to go back tomorrow, but for my wallet its best if I don't! I really really hope it comes back next year.

I was there yesterday as well. Someone unfortunately snagged my grail pen when I walked away for one minute. I did end up getting two pens and two bottles of ink for myself as well as One pen to gift to a friend. Overall I was very impressed with the vendors and the amount of people which showed up. Hope to see it again next year.

For those interested, we did a podcast (http://fpgeeks.com/2014/10/fpgeeks-podcast-81-colorado-pen-show-edition/) yesterday just to talk about the show. It was a ton of fun. We should have pics and a report up soon.

I'm surprised Nomdeplume hasn't shown off her haul from the show. It's quite impressive...

Just too busy using all my new pens to stop and take photos!
Great show! Also gathered some new members for the Pen Posse!

Picked this one up from Susan Wirth. It's a Federal Pen with an Aiken Lambert nib that flexes from 0.5mm to 2.1 with ease.
