Hi all,

Here are three pens and a mechanical pencil fresh from my workbench.
These pens all have been restored inside and out and are ready to fill
with ink and use.

If you see one or more pens that you like, please reply to me at:

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, shipping,
etcetera" at the bottom of this post.

4. circa 1948 Sheaffer's Touchdown set in burgundy/maroon with gold
filled caps. I think this version was called a Crest Delulxe. Both the
pen and pencil were dropped on their heads, the end of the pen cap has
a flattened spot just above the white dot and one higher on the side
of the top. The pencil has a dimple on the very top of the cap. Also
the pen has been engraved L to B 10-29-'50. The caps have no scratches
and did not appear to have had much use. The mechanical pencil is a
twist propel/repel type, is working, has extra leads and the eraser
seems to be useable. The nib is smooth writing and very fine. I think
the tip is about an Accountant-XX-Fine. The nib is a two tone Triumph.
Capped the pen measures 5 1/8 inches or 13.2 cm. This is the fatter
Touchdown model that preceded the TM thin model Touchdowns. It comes
with the correct Sheaffer's clam shell box. The box top is floppy,
because the spring over the hinge is broken.

Price $145.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

5. 1950's Sheaffer's Snorkel in blue with stainless steel and gold
filled cap. I am not sure of the exact model name of this pen. The pen
has a gold colored snorkel tube, so I assume it was made in the
earlier years of production. I replaced the point gasket in the
section and the o-ring in the barrel, and of course the ink sac. The
cap has a typical small flattened spot, kind of off to one side, also
there are a few hard to see nibble marks in the milling on the blind
cap. The nib is, I think, a PdAg, Triumph (silver colored). It is a
smooth writing Extra Fine. I was trying to polish some light scratches
on the nib and, like an idiot, polished through the sliver colored
plating in a couple of spots, but they are kind of hard to see. Hind
sight! I will know better to leave well enough alone next time. The
barrel imprint is deep-ish with raised edges. It comes with the
original display box. Capped the pen measures 5 1/2 inches or 13.9 cm,
I think they all measure about the same...

6. 1946 Parker 51 fountain pen in India Black with gold filled
Heritage cap. This is has a Vacumatic fill system. The cap is one of
three versions of the Heritage caps, with what I call the Art Deco
arrow band. These caps have nine line panels and an indicia panel. The
indicia panel has NOT been personalized with a name or initials. The
only damage is brassing around the very bottom edge of the cap lip and
has no dings, dents, etc. that I found. The nib is a smooth writing
Accountant/XX-Fine in 14K.

The usual rules apply, the person sending the first e-mail on an item
~stating intent to purchase~ gets the item. I will give you 5 days to
decide if you like the pen or not. I prefer payment by PayPal but also
accept checks or money orders in USD. I can only accept payment by
PayPal from countries outside the U.S. I ship worldwide, so
international customers are always welcome.

Postal Service Priority Mail, which is $24.75 to most countries,
except Canada, which is less. I can also ship to other countries by

Return Policy: I will always allow pens, or other items, to be
returned. If there is a problem I would prefer the chance to fix the problem
or replace the item, when and if possible. Otherwise a full refund

not be responsible for any other problems.

Happy penning!
