Hi all,

Here are three pens and a mechanical pencil fresh from my workbench.
These pens all have been restored inside and out and are ready to fill
with ink and use.

If you see one or more pens that you like, please reply to me at:

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, shipping,
etcetera" at the bottom of this post.

Pen #1. circa 1923 Parker Duofold Senior fountain pen in red hard
rubber. This one has a medium size Duofold barrel imprint. The imprint
is very worn. It has about a 4 millimeter scratch above the cap band
on the back side. There are a few little light scratches here and
there, but overall the pen is in fairly nice condition for its age.
The only brassing on the trim is on across the ball of the clip. The
milling on the cap end and blind cap is deep and not heavily worn. I
did a light hand polish on the pen with Novus 2 and it looks great.
Note - do not use Novus #1 or #3 on hard rubber pens, those two
polishes will discolor the hard rubber. The nib is smooth writing and
about a fat Fine or narrow Medium. It has a little bit of flex, but
not much. Capped the pen measures 5 1/2 inches or 14 cm.

Price $365.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

2. ~SOLD~ to M.A.

circa 1917 Conklin #25 Crescent filler fountain pen in black chased
hard rubber. This is a clip-less version, it never had a pocket clip.
The only brassing on the trim is a bit on the top center edge of the
Crescent, where you would expect to find it. The original owner must
have been a deep thinker or frustrated, as the person seemed to have
tapped the pen a lot on the cap band. The cap band has little shallow
bump marks all over it and a couple on the lip of the band. The pen
has some light discoloration. None of the chasing is worn off, but it
does have some wear, as does the barrel imprints. There is a chip out
of one corner of the crescent lock ring. The nib is a smooth Flexible
Fine 14K and you can get about a 1.6 mm line with it, when pressure is
applied to the nib. The pen is a nice writer and I elected to save it,
instead of relegating it to the parts bin. I have been seeing flex nib
Conklins and other brands selling on eBay for between about the
$200.00 to $400.00 range in the last few months. Some had much more
discoloration and wear than this one. Capped the pen measures 5 3/16
inches or 13.2 cm.

~SOLD~ to M.A. $135.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

3. circa 1937 Eversharp fountain pen in pastel green and gold web
pearl. I think this pen has about the most beautiful plastic I have
ever seen in a Wahl-Eversharp pen. The pen appeared not to have had
much use before I started working on it. The original nib had one half
of the tip missing, so the nib might have gotten broken soon after it
was purchased. That is my hypothesis anyway. I replaced the nib with a
14K Wahl-Oxford nib, because that was the only Wahl I had that was the
right size. There is no damage on the pen to report. The trim is clean
and not brassed and the barrel imprint is crisp and sharp. There is
kind of a dark dead spot in the plastic, ahead of the lever, but it
was just how the reflective web chunks were situated when the pen was
made and not discoloration. The nib is a smooth writing Flexible Fine
and about 1.25 mm line can be achieved when pressure is applied. The
nib is small, somewhat smaller than what I would consider a standard
#2 size nib to be. Capped the pen measures 5 1/8 inches or 13 cm. The
overall condition of the pen is Excellent.
