Hi all,

Here are four pens and two mechanical pencils fresh from my workbench.
The pens all have been restored inside and out and are ready to fill
with ink and use. Both of the pencils have a nice polish.

If you see one or more pens that you like, please reply to me at:

michael@northwestpenworks.com

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, shipping,
etcetera" at the bottom of this post.

4. circa 1925 Conklin Endura standard size flat top pen in orange
plastic. The clip is incorrect, it is from a later pen, but it is the
one that was on it when I bought it and it is tight. The clip has
brassing on the top end and the tip. There is brassing on the back
side of the cap band. I chemically welded a cap lip crack that does
not extend above the cap band. The front side of the cap lip appeared
to have a long thin chip out of it, under the clip. See close-up
photo. I decided not to shave the cap lip, because the chip is stable,
and it would just look odder than it does now. The barrel imprint has
some wear, but it is all legible. The nib is a smooth writing
Semi-Flexible Extra Fine 14K. Capped the pen measures 4 7/8 inches or
12.2 cm. This is the kind of pen I like to stick in my shirt pocket
and use. If I didn't already have one I might have kept it.

Price $115.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

5. ~SOLD~ to E.D.

1949 Parker 51 full size fountain pen in Plum (dark violet). I
refinished the Lustraloy cap and it has a nice minty looking finish.
There is some corrosion on the cover tube over the ink sac. Also I
noticed a blemish in the plastic, toward the end of the barrel. It
appears that it is a factory flaw and looks like microscopic bubbling.
The flaw is about half the size of a pinhead and hard to see without
magnification. The nib is an especially smooth writing Fine 14K and
writes a nice dark, wet line. Overall, this is a nice looking example
and a really nice writer.

~SOLD~ to E.D. $215.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

6. ~SOLD~ to J.H.

1947 (marked T7) Parker 51 full size fountain pen in Cedar Blue
with a Lustraloy cap and blue diamond clip. What is a T7 you might
ask? The pen was made in 1947. I was reading the other day that these
were made in the U.S. and shipped to Toronto, Canada for assembly.
What I don't know is WHY they were shipping pens to Toronto for
assembly. I have also read that Parker was having the parts made in
Toronto and shipped to the U.S. for assembly. But I think the latter
has been guesswork by collectors. I partially disassembled the cap and
refinished it and it looks very nice! I also re-polished the cap band,
which ads a nice touch. This is a Vacumatic fill pen and the diaphragm
has been replaced (I always replace them). The nib is a smooth writing
Extra Fine 14K (as smooth as I could make it). The overall condition
of the pen is Excellent.

~SOLD~ to J.H. $155.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

Rules, Shipping, Etc.

The usual rules apply, the person sending the first e-mail on an item
~stating intent to purchase~ gets the item. I will give you 5 days to
decide if you like the pen or not. I prefer payment by PayPal but also
accept checks or money orders in USD. I can only accept payment by
PayPal from countries outside the U.S. I ship worldwide, so
international customers are always welcome.

Prices are post paid in the U.S., and will be shipped with a tracking
number and insurance. I normally ship inside the U.S. by U.S.
Postal Service Priority Mail, which is $24.75 to most countries,
except Canada, which is less. I can also ship to other countries by
by Express International Mail, if you request it, but it is costly.

Return Policy: I will always allow pens, or other items, to be
returned. If there is a problem I would prefer the chance to fix the problem
or replace the item, when and if possible. Otherwise a full refund
will be offered. If you find a problem and choose to send the item
(pen, mechanical pencil, etc.) to someone else to be corrected, I will
not be responsible for any other problems.

Happy penning!
