Montblanc 144 Meisterstück Classique from the 1980s. This is the cartridge/piston-converter 144 with slip cap (aka Classique) and not the older, piston-filled 144 with screw-on cap. I purchased it from one of the “Gang of Five” sellers, so authenticity is guaranteed. Pictures are of actual item.
In great condition, especially for this model (notice the lack of corrosion on the section ring). Spectacular two-tone nib that writes somewhere between a European fine and a medium. It has a hint of “spring” and is very smooth and reliable. It comes with the original converter and handwritten note and card provided by the original seller.
