Up for sale is a beautiful Conklin Glider from the 1940's. The pen has been restored--cleaned, shined up, and a new sac installed. A full size pen measuring just over 5" capped and 6 1/2" posted, it is in great shape, with very little wear from use over the years. The lever filling mechanism functions perfectly. The barrel and cap feature beautiful pearlescent brown and gray striations, so that the pen shimmers in the light. The silver-colored clip, cap ring, and lever are in excellent shape. The barrel imprint reading "The Conklin Pen Co., Chicago, Ill, U.S.A., Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." is still clearly readable. The nib has been replaced with a super-smooth modern gold-plated nib that lays down a silky fine-to-medium line, making it a pleasure to write with. As you can see in the photos, this is a very handsome pen. And it's also a great writer!

Asking $74.00, including shipping within the continental U.S. International buyers are welcome, but there may be a small additional shipping charge. I can be reached through sending me email (davef200@gmail.com).
