This baby really intrigues me. I ADORE everything Pilot (long before I became a fp snob I was a pen snob that only liked G2s and V5s) so I was wondering if we can use cartridges in this one and buy cartridges does it seem possible to syringe fill empty cartridges with FP ink? I think this would solve some writing issues for me as sometimes my richly flowing nice fps destroy the cheap paper I take notes on.

Well, I'm into "hands-on learning". Give it a whirl and see what happens!

Levenger used to sell a similar rollerball that used its own cartridges. The pen intrigued me but I never bought one.

Wonder if they still sell it.

looks like that pen might just take a pilot FP cartridge. for under $3 it's hard to lose here.

If you click on the refill pack they have for sale it appears to have some plastic cover on the top of the cartridge. Is this unique to that style or do all pilot carts have them?

I think that is the wider part of the cartridge sleeve that you push into the grip/feed section.
Looks similar to the regular Pilot cartridge....maybe the ink has been optimised for rollerball use.
