Hello fellow geeks,

I have a couple of inexpensive pens that need some repairs and would appreciate some advice. On pricier, higher quality pens I would send them off, but since these are relatively cheap and I'm not completely inept, I figured I can try and fix these myself.

Noodler's Konrad Acrylic: The metal cap band has fallen off, whatever glue was used has dried out completely. What is the best kind of glue for mating the metal ring to the acrylic cap? Krazy/super-glue is cyanoacrylic, and I'm wary of it not playing nice with the pen.

Waterman Kultur: There's an air leak in the cap, which after doing some research, is a known design flaw with these pens, and causes ink to dry out like crazy. I read that dripping some type of clear epoxy into the cap will seal this up, but never found a good type or brand recommendation.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
