Going through the last of my fiance's father's belongings to finally get out of here and get it listed for probate sale I stumbled upon this. Two packs of vintage WW2 stationery. The Red, White, and Blue band is sort of an inside the pack strip of paper wrapped around the stationery.

I am trying to find out any info on this stationery pack. There is no company name. But I have been told the tanks are M3 Lees. There is also a small half inch tall Hermes figure on the back of the red, white, and blue wrapper and it says novelty made in USA.1383213833138341383513836

Upon looking at the larger image I see the name of the company is novelart. I thought it said Novelty. I just found a tiny bit of info on the company. http://www.freepatentsonline.com/2413474.html

Upon further research it turns out they still exist but use another name and have been based in my hometown from day 1 :)

I have seen this paper in various writings of WWII servicemen. I believe this paper was provided/or sold at very cheap prices for them at USO's and other stops they made. Some I have seen was personalized for particular ships they served on. It should handle fountain pen ink well as this is what it was designed for.

My fiance would like to keep it as is. I will probably scan and print from the scan but also hunt for more of it online so I can use the real thing.
