Hi all,

These pens all have been restored inside and out and are ready to fill
with ink and use.

If you see one or more pens that you like, please reply to me at:

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, shipping,
etcetera" at the bottom of this post.

Pen #1. c. 1945 Sheaffer's Triumph Crest set in golden brown stripe with
gold filled caps. The pen is a rod plunger fill. The white dot is on
the end of the blind cap. The filling system was restored by Gerry
Berg and fills well. The pencil is working well and has extra leads.
Both pen and pencil are engraved with the initials J.J.L. on the
bottom back edge of the caps. The pen barrel is imprinted 1500, i.e.
it originally sold for $15.00. Capped the pen measures 4 7/8 inches or
12.5 cm. The nib is a smooth writing Extra Fine two tone 14K Triumph.
The pen cap has no dents or brassing. The pencil cap has a couple
of typical flattened spots on top and also has about an 8 mm shallow
dent on the back side and two or three very small shallow bump marks.
Overall it is a nice looking set. The barrel clarity in the clear
stripes of the pen are much better than average, only very light
discoloration. Oh, I misspelled Crest in the writing sample. I have a
friend with the last name Chrest, and I guess my brain was on
auto-pilot when I was doing the writing sample...

2. ~SOLD~ to E.D.

c. 1947 Sheaffer's Triumph pen and pencil set in black with brushed
stainless steel caps and gold filled trim. The white dot on this pen
is on the blind cap. The caps on both the pen and pencil are very nice
with no brassing and no dents. They only have a very few micro
scratches. The barrel imprints are crisp with raised sharp edges. The
pencil is working nicely and has extra leads. This is a plunger fill
pen and the internal plunger and packing was restored by Gerry Berg.
The pen fills well. The nib is a smooth writing Fine two tone 14K
Triumph. The overall condition of the set is Excellent plus.

3. ~SOLD~ to E.D.

c. 1936 Sheaffer's Jr. Balance pen in Ebonized Pearl, i.e.
black with abalone chips. This one is an early rod/plunger fill, with
a coated plunger rod. The silver colored trim has some micro
scratches, but no other damage that I noticed. The plunger head and
packing were replaced by Gerry Berg and the pen is filling well. The
barrel is visulated in spirals and has only light ambering, it is much
better than average. Many of the Ebonized Pearl Balance pens have
discolored over the abalone chips, especially on the barrels, but the
color is perfect on this pen. The nib in this pen is quite scarce, it
is a smooth flexible fat Fine or Medium Stub in 14K. It makes very
crisp thin and thick lines and will flex to about a broad line, when
light pressure is applied. It writes very wet. Capped the pen
measures 5 3/8 inches or 13.7 cm.

~SOLD~ to E.D. $165.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping

Rules, Shipping, Etc.

The usual rules apply, the person sending the first e-mail on an item
~stating intent to purchase~ gets the item. I will give you 5 days to
decide if you like the pen or not. I prefer payment by PayPal but also
accept checks or money orders in USD. I can only accept payment by
PayPal from countries outside the U.S. I ship worldwide, so
international customers are always welcome.

Prices are post paid in the U.S., and will be shipped with a tracking

Postal Service Priority Mail, which is $24.75 to most countries,
except Canada, which is less. I can also ship to other countries by
by Express International Mail, if you request it, but it is costly.

Return Policy: I will always allow pens, or other items, to be
returned. If there is a problem I would prefer the chance to fix the problem
or replace the item, when and if possible. Otherwise a full refund

not be responsible for any other problems.

Happy penning!
