Hi all,

My boyfriend picked up what we think is a 1970s Pilot fountain pen at the local antique centre today. It's exactly the same as this one (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1970-039-s-PILLOT-FOUNTAIN-PEN-14K-GOLD-NIB-NEW-OLD-STOCK-/321512135043?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=ndEuLv2E%252FsMhlL%252B5UF9tF0yrNIs%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc) that sold on eBay recently (right down to the price sticker), but other than this I can't find out anything about it online. Does anyone know what it is?

The design isn't exactly the same, but it reminds me of the Pilot Cavalier, which is a current model. That's got a metal body, very thin, and has a very nice stainless steel nib. Jetpens carries them.

One of the many variations of the Pilot "Lady" pen made during the 1970's.
