I've put aside a lot of pens that I've either lost interest in or have not used in a while. These were the ones that have been cleaned and uninked for more than a month or two, so I've decided to put them up for sale.

Unless otherwise noted, all of them work and are clean. Pictures of the Fountain Pens will link to a 2048 pixel (Large) version of the image for more detailed viewing.

Prices do not include shipping unless otherwise noted, within the Continental USA I can ship: Priority mail for $6 or 1st Class for $3.50

In most cases I am up for counter offers on price or trades.

Duke Uranus 1000 (Blue/Silver) w/ 22KGP Fine~Medium nib & Box

Though I'm not sure how true the label is that it's gold plated or not. It has a removable aerometric converter. The partially hooded nib writes like a western fine, if not a little larger than that. Very smooth to me due to it's larger tipping, but I don't like the way the cap slides on (metal-on-metal feeling).

It's currently inked with a Lamy blue cartridge (it may be compatible with Parker cartridges, but it's definitely not a standard international fitting.)

Asking $10.

#1 - SOLD - Sheaffer Craftsman Lever-Filler, Persian Blue, 14K #33 Extra Fine Nib, Restored

A Lever-filling Sheaffer Craftsman in Persian Blue with a 14K #33 Extra Fine nib with a tiny bit of a scratch to it (it's like a Japanese Extra-Fine), was restored by the seller I purchased it from earlier this year and said to have been polished with brazilian carnauba wax. Sac was new and talc'd when I received it earlier this year. Writes a tad on the wet side and the nib isn't as smooth as my feathertouch accounting nib on my touchdown, it's a very fine line so some scratch was to be expected. There is some darkening/stain in the plastic just below the section and near the tail end of the pen.

Asking $25.

#2 - SOLD - Sheaffer Snorkel Admiral, Black, 14K Monotone M2 Medium, Professionally Restored w/ Warranty

A black Snorkel Admiral with a 14K Monotone M2 Medium Nib that writes a tad on the wet side (least when I was using Noodler's Black Eel in it). This pen was professionally fully restored by Write On Time Pen and Watch Restoration (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Write-on-Time-Vintage-Pens-Watches-Restoration-and-Service/208871225809681), and includes the restoration warranty which I am being allowed to transfer to a new user (the restoration was done in March, so the warranty is good until next March[2015]).

#3 - SOLD - Parker Parkette (1950 Datecode), Red, Steel ~Fine Nib
#4 - SOLD - Ultra "Italian Import" 1958, black/gold crossweave (lacquer?), syringe/rod filler

A pen I purchased as New-Old-Stock that I cleaned up and fixed up the syringe filler (due to being NOS the rod for filling lost it's grip on the gasket, so that was repaired and the ink reservoir greased with some silicone grease. The syringe filler is almost identical to the way they work on the Noodler's Ahab, and just like the Ahab the reservoir can unscrew from the section (which I have sealed with some silicone grease instead of shellac for easier removal and cleaning). The gasket is a little tight towards the back end of the filler. It writes somewhat like a western fine, pretty smooth but can be very wet with an ink like Iroshizuku Ama-iro. Also I'm not sure, but I think the nib is sort of a arabic/hebrew nib, it appears to be thicker on the horizontal and thinner on the vertical strokes, not by much, but seems to be.

You can see a picture of it disassembled here to get a better idea of the syringe filler. (http://static.karlblessing.com/pens/ultra/disassembled.jpg)

#5 - SOLD - Sailor 1911M (Standard Size) Cobalt Blue, 14K Zoom Nib

#6 - SOLD - Platinum PTL-5000, Black (with aftermarket Maki-e/Urushi paint job), 14K Extra-Fine

I purchased this from Engeika on eBay as a Wancher Limited Maki-e pen which turned out to be a Platinum PTL-5000, They're of course *now* selling these for $45 (2 left according to them), I won this for $52 back when only auction or the $400 BIN was an option.

It has an extra-fine 14K nib, which I've smoothed a little while still keeping it very fine (it's one of the finest lines I've written with outside of the accounting nib on my Touchdown), I don't have a converter for it, and there are some wear in the urushi lacquer layer, particularly at the bottom of the pen. I did a video review of this pen here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mk9wPBfxAbM

Asking $25.

#7 - SOLD - Jinhao 599 (1st version), Green, Metal body/cap, Steel Crimped Fine Nib
#8 - SOLD - Jinhao 599 (3rd version), Orange, Plastic body/cap, Steel Hooded Extra-Fine Nib (very smooth)
#9 - SOLD - Jinhao 159, Black, 2-tone Goulet Medium Nib
#10 - SOLD - Nemosine Singularity, Demonstrator, 2-tone Goulet 1.5 Stub Nib

Some Miscellaneous non-fountain pens.

#1 A pair of Korean Tourist Gift Pens (Ballpoints)
Made in Korea, Nothing particularly special about them, silkscreened design onto plastic. The refills appear to be dried out, but appears to be the same kind of refill I see in most of the cheap clickers.

Price: make an offer

#2 Astramatic Pencil and Pen pair with original manual and box.
The pencil rotates smoothly and has lead in it, the ballpoint pen appears to have dried out. I am not sure what kind of refills the pen has.

Asking $10 OBO.

#3 An all metal "F1 Boston" Ballpoint pen and letter opener and tin box.

The pen, Letter opener and box are labeled with F1 Boston (F1 Racing Perhaps?). There appears to be no other branding shown except on the pen refill which is labeled Signature USA. The ballpoint refill does write.

Asking $5 OBO

Samples I can provide with Purchase:

I also have a bunch of Sample Ink (mostly from Ink Drop) I've little to no plans to use. So any purchases can pick up to two to ship along with the pen.

Currently I have:

Everything but the Sailor 1911M is available (if something sells or is on hold, I'll bump the thread and mark it in the original post).

Please hold the Nemosine and green Jinhao for me. I've PM'ed you.

Also, I just noticed an alteration in your offer around the Nemosine: Are you adding another pen to the $10 offer? If so, I will take it along with the green Jinhao.

Enjoy your day, Karl!

On hold pending payment.

On the Nemosine, if you didn't want it with the Goulet nib it's 10$ total for that pen with a Jinhao medium. (ie: meaning 15$+shipping for what you requested)

Bumping since I found out something interesting with the Uranus Pen. While it didn't seem capable of taking a standard international cartridge or converter (the nipple is too big, and section area too wide), and did not appear to fit Platinum cartridge and converters, it did appear to take something else in my set up just fine.

Apparently it can take Lamy cartridges (but not converter, since the converter is like a millimeter or so too tall to fit into the barrel).

A picture of the ultra completely disassembled.

The nib/feed/collar slides out the back of the section once the ink reservoir has been unscrewed from the section.

The nib/feed is just a friction fit into the clear collar (with the thicker part facing the back of the pen, the lip of it matches up with the grove on the reservoir).

The rod/gasket slides out the front of the clear ink reservoir when removed. (much like that of a Noodler's Ahab).

http://static.karlblessing.com/pens/ultra/disassembled2.jpg

When uncapped there is an ink window just under the section to see the ink in the pen without removing the barrel.

The Sheaffer Craftsman (#1) has been sold, all that remains in this thread is the Uranus 1000/KSF-301 which I'll take $15 for shipped, and the three miscellaneous non-FP pens.
