Hi all,

Five of the pens on this list are fresh from my workbench, with one
rerun.

These pens all have been restored inside and out and are ready to fill
with ink and use.

If you see one or more pens that you like, please reply to me at:

Pen #1. ~SOLD~ to J.D.

1945 Parker 51 with custom hand hammered and antiqued sterling
silver cap, with Cedar Blue barrel. These 51's that I hammer the sterling or
gold filled caps for them are a kind of recycling project for me. I
use damaged caps that have deep scratches, deep dents, heavily worn
plating, etc. that cannot be saved by normal restoration techniques. I
only hammer about three to six 51 caps a year. This is a Vacumatic
fill pen. The nib is a smooth Extra Fine 14K. Except for the nib, this
pen is very similar to one that carry and use often.

~SOLD~ to J.D. $295.00 shipping with insurance included in the U.S. Foreign
shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

2. circa 1925 Parker Duofold Senior Senior flat top in black hard
rubber. The cap and barrel are black and shiny, but I left the cap and
blind cap discolored, for a bit of contrast. This is a user grade pen.
The most of the imprint was worn and gone before I started working on
the pen, except for the word "DUOFOLD", which you can make out, but it
is very worn. This is medium size imprint. The clip has a lot of
brassing on the top half and the raised cap only has a narrow band of
gold let on it, around the center of the band. The nib and feed are
from a later Duofold Senior, the feed is a comb style and I think the
nib was made around 1928. The nib is a smooth writing Extra Fine.

Price $185.00 shipping with insurance included in the U.S. Foreign
shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

3. ~SOLD~ to E.D.

1945 Parker Duofold Senior (aka DuoVac) in red and silver pearl
stripe. The pen appeared to have had little use. The clip and band
have no brassing. The longitudinal clear barrel segments are not
ambered, but the inside of the barrel had been stained with black ink,
which I could not totally remove. The nib is a very smooth writing
Fine/Medium, probably a medium. Capped the pen measures 5 5/16 inches
or 13.6 cm. The nib is a monotone yellow gold "Victory" with the big
double line "V" stamped on it. The condition of the pen is Excellent.

~SOLD~ to E.D. $225.00 shipping with insurance included in the U.S. Foreign
shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

Rules, Shipping, Etc.

The usual rules apply, the person sending the first e-mail on an item
~stating intent to purchase~ gets the item. I will give you 5 days to
decide if you like the pen or not. I prefer payment by PayPal but also
accept checks or money orders in USD. I can only accept payment by
PayPal from countries outside the U.S. I ship worldwide, so
international customers are always welcome.

Prices are post paid in the U.S., and will be shipped with a tracking
number and insurance. I normally ship inside the U.S. by U.S.
Postal Service Priority Mail, which is $24.75 to most countries,
except Canada, which is less. I can also ship to other countries by
by Express International Mail, if you request it, but it is costly.

Return Policy: I will always allow pens, or other items, to be
returned. If there is a problem I would prefer the chance to fix the problem
or replace the item, when and if possible. Otherwise a full refund
will be offered. If you find a problem and choose to send the item
(pen, mechanical pencil, etc.) to someone else to be corrected, I will
not be responsible for any other problems.

Happy penning!

Bump!

that hand hammered cap is great!

One of these days, I am going to have a spare, and we simply need to make each other one and swap.

Rick,

That 51 with the hammered and antiqued sterling cap sold within minutes of posting it to a couple of places.

We could do a hammered 51 cap swap. I like to see other people's pen work.
