Nice handwriting for a Sith Lord

Thanks for the review. It's a handsome-looking pen indeed, one that you can take anywhere---the classroom, the boardroom, on a trip, etc. My M200 (green marbled) was the pen that got me back into fountain pens. I got it at a local pen shop here in Vancouver about 10 years ago. They happened to have one with an OB nib (a round OB nib...not italic  ) and, as you might imagine, it wrote very smoothly. The nib has a big blob of iridium and it fairly skates across the paper. Anyway, I'm sorry to see that Pelikan has raised their prices; hopefully the M2xx pens won't be priced out of reach of most 'newbies' to our hobby; the M200 could often be found on many people's "Good Beginner Fountain Pen" lists.
It's nice to see that new M200 gold-plated steel nibs can be had for $26 as it is so easy to switch out the nib units.

What situations would a pen be *too* classic? I must admit I do like the green striated finish better, but I like how this pen looks, well, like a pen.

A very handsome pen indeed. I was sort of hoping the review would be writen in that green ink you loaded it with in the photos section.

Is the review on a Rhodia dot pad ?

Thank you Maja. Being as self conscious as I am about my hand, it is a very big compliment for me. I wish I would have had a Pelikan 10 years ago. :)

Thank you.

I was thinking a really laid back situation where you did not want to be flashy.

Really a classic pen! After looking at its wonderful quality and reading amazing reviews, planning to buy it as soon as possible.
