It was a good show. It was my first pen show so I do not have any others to compare it with. It was very well attended and at times very busy. A special thanks to Mags and to Phillip for making an effort to make me feel welcome. I cannot believe I am saying this but I did not buy anything. In fact I sold a bunch of pens. I also did not take any pictures. I did have a great time taking in the show. Sorry I did not meet up with more of you who attended.

The show was very well organized and seemed to run very smoothly. Many thanks to all of the organizers and assuming there is one I would defintely attend the next show.

I believe the show was a great success. The new pen vendors from Phidon, Stylus (Montreal) and Laywines all were busy and the private tables were well frequented also. Many a pen case was half empty or emptied so sales were good.

I had Sean work on a nib. I picked up a BB nib for Pelikan 200/400/600 for $35. My Franklin Christoph pocket pen was a show special for me at a good price.

The Pelikan 400 completes my flock. I have added the Onoto to my collection and a Stipulation Crescent filler for $100 was a good price with a gold nib!

The ink was purchased on a group buy but delivered to me so bonus!!

Wow Toronto Scriptus was mighty with 35 tables.

The traffic was solid with about 45-80 new people an hour so I expect about a 1000 active shoppers came through. I sold a HS Midi so my net cost today was about $180. For me that is a good deal of restraint.

The two packages of BlackStone powdered ink in Black Cashmere and Blue Cashmere will be tried out with 60 ml of water later for a saturated but well flowing sample.

Mags, you're missing half of your head. ;)
Thanks for posting pics. Always fun to hear and see other pen shows.

Nice haul! Which nib did you get ? I got a fine nib on mine (below) on Friday at Phidon. For anyone who doesn't have the FC Model 40 pocket yet, go to Phidon Pens in Cambridge (http://phidonpens.com/contactUs.html)and get one while they still have 'em! They were down to 4 when I left the show.

Well I was told the Medium I purchased at 4 pm was the very last one. They had 2 rollerballs left.

I still need to ink and try it out. The price was too good to pass on it though.

Here is a profile shot of the Arabic/Hebrew ground Pelikan M200 nib unit. Some crazy line variation depending on how it is held. Reverse write a smooth EF. Apparently is a Binder ground nib that a retailer bought a few years ago to resell, and the retailer is now out of business. Only $35!
