Was out at a craft market & saw these cool African Art carved timber animal letter openers. Thought they're something different to the usual PIF's.

I bought a few & I have 6 up for grabs to 6 lucky geeks. PIF is open to all. I'll cover Standard postage worldwide. I'll do a random draw same time in two weeks on 17.11.2014.

Before I got a letter opener, I used to open mail with my fingers & I've heard how lucky I was to never get any paper cuts. After I started using one, I realised how awesome these knife-like apparatuses are! Also, they put one a little bit more in touch with the old ways for those us who love writing & receiving written letters.

I have been wanting a letter opener for some time now, but have never got round to getting one.

I have had the experience of paper cutting myself when opening a letter. When it's under the fingernail it's very painful.

So I would love to be considered for one of these great looking letter openers.

I love giraffes, too, and every other creature in this house is black/white, so a zebra would fit in, too. :)

alc3261, Ypsilanti, writingrav & sparkinflint have confirmed receiving their letter openers.

I have not checked on the status of the remainder of the winners...I think the only 2 people who did not confirm were yourself & migo984...pls tell me you've received your openers?
