Hi. The Ohio Pen Show is this weekend. At every pen show I attend, I try to bring some show and tell. I remain impressed, even after 16 years in the hobby, how focused pen collections seem just to happen. This time, instead of bringing Parkers, Sheaffers, Wahls, etc, I'm bringing something a bit different. 60+ different 1930s Gold Bond pens, a store brand made for Montgomery Ward by Barrett, Wahl, and Waterman at least.

Yeah, I don't know every last private collection out there, but I have never seen a heftier accumulation. If you happen to have nice GB's, do bring them along as well. I have several 1920s MW catalogs used to put these in context. These are not for sale, just presented for educational purposes. Drop by my table or hang out with us during the evening-pen-culture thing to take a look in person.
