View Full Version : Hero 565 AKA the Thimble Fountain pen

According to my oldest daughter, this pen looks like a thimble, and she is right. Smooth and hard as a nail as typical Hero fountain pens go. Smooth nib and a consistent flow with eye catching dimples. :D

Maja, it is about 133 mm capped (5 1/4") and 150 mm posted (5 7/8"). The pen without a cap is 117 mm (4 9/16").

And how does it write?

It is typical Hero. Smooth but a nail. I tried flexing the nib but that semi hood keeps it from moving much.

Great pics as usual ... Most Hero write relatively smooth with no flex ...
