I like the crayon method. Highlighting without permanence.

I've used white crayons or china pencils (grease pencil, here in the states) for this before, and it works great. When photographing firearms for insurance purposes we always did this to the serial numbers and other markings so they would show up in the photos. Because it comes off so easily, there is not really any reason not to try it!

O dear ! Firearms,we dont have fire arms here in the UK :shocked:
