Hi everyone,
At work I often need to label items such as, well labels, photos, ect. Many times these items have a coated surface that is not fountain pen ink friendly...at least not any that I've tried. Does anyone know of an ink that will adhear to these items other than ball point pen ink or sharpie marker ink? I'd like to be able to reduce the number of pens I carry to just my fountain pens. Thanks.

Fountain pen ink is water-based, and relies on absorption and evaporation to adhere to whatever you're writing on. You're probably better off with a Sharpie for writng on photographs and coated labels.
