I am going to buy a new Omas Ogiva Celluloid with an extra fine extra flessibile nib. Is it possible to get an old-style extra fine extra flessibile nib (the ones that were much more flexible than the modern ones) that would fit into the modern Ogiva? I have what I now realise is an old-style Omas Milord with an extra-fine extra flessibile nib and the difference between the old and new flessibile is quite marked and disappointingly so. I love the look of the Ogiva Celluloid and want one but it would be perfect if it could have an old flessibile nib. What do people think? Is such a thing even possible?

Assuming the two nibs share identical dimensions, it should be fine. Have you attempted to contact a nibmeister regarding this matter? They usually would have a very good idea if your idea was feasible.

John Mottishaw (www.nibs.com) is where you need to look.
