This is a very cool, subtle pen. The pen looks different dependent on the type of light there is. From a distance it looks black, but as you observe it from close, it has a woodgrain like appearance of blue, black, and gray.

I have took pictures showing how this pen looks in a variety of light settings.

Pen comes with original Edison Packaging and box.

To me, it looks like a modest Montblanc pen.

It is of very nice size, can be used both posted and unposted.

Looks Good my friend. I'm interested in the barrel, section and cap only. I do not have use for the Gold nib. If you happen to have a medium or a broad nib I can take that off your hands. But as you mentioned the pen is avail without the nib. Okay with you Akafridi3?

Reduced... $265 for pen with gold nib. $175 for just pen but no nib unit. These Edison 18k nibs go for $150 new, so I think this is a fair deal.
