Another acquisition I got from Sean, a unbranded eye-dropper BCHR pen.

I had a spare #4 nib, but it doesn't fit into my previous BCHR (a lever filler) because it's too short/narrow and too thin. So I shot three pictures of the spare next to a ruler (it's the one on the left, with the one on the right being what was already in my existing BCHR lever pen), and found a pen that would fit the bill.

Also shot is a pic of the original nib that came in the pen or as he described a "Crappy nib", indeed it was lol. Was easy to get the nib out, but took overnight of soaking the section in a sample vial of water to be able to slide the feed thru the back of the section, and that allowed me to fit the new nib in deep enough. The feed would usually be flush with the back of the section, but that wouldn't allow for a firm hold to the nib , and since it's an ED having the feed back a little further doesn't hurt with a straight cut feet.

Made sure the tipping was aligned and smoothed it a tiny bit (12k micro-mesh and mylar paper), inked with some R&K Salix, then emptied it out and switched over to some Diamine Imperial Blue (more of a purple), as I got plenty of blues inked. After doing the write sample I used some brass shims to get the nib just a little wetter, Didn't want to do it while it was inked with salix because then it would be too wet for most of my other inks.

Little sharp on the edges but nice and smooth with the new nib in it. Appears to be sort of a reverse-stub, thick going across, and thinner going up and down.

A bit skinny, holds a little over 2ml of ink, and the clip is easily removable. The cap is simply a push-on/pull-off.
