Noodler’s Squeteague - A shading ink
Thanks @junglejim for providing such a delightful ink (mystery ink 36)
Just check the chroma:

Squeteague is a first nation name for Weakfish, native to the North Eastern Coast of North Amercia. The colour of this ink is inspired by the teals colour of the spots found on its head and back.
This is a delightful ink for those who enjoy dark teals with shading and who don’t care for long dry times. Ink has decent water resistance....
a short line and sketch - with a freshly inked pen...

Here you can the contrast with Akkerman SBRE Brown...
Attachment 65513
As you can see, I was not enamoured with the long drying times at first....the text is written alternatively with Ahab/Lamy Safari broad back and front....
Attachment 65514
But after a while, I enjoyed it quite a bit despite its shortcomings....

Re: Noodler’s Squeteague - A shading ink
Thanks, Yazeh, for taking the time to do this ink review! I wonder if it was the sketch of your cat that made me think that this is a great name for a cat . . . Squeteague that is.
Re: Noodler’s Squeteague - A shading ink
Oh wow, awesome review!!
Great writing as well. I'm dismayed by the long drying times...that's a no-go.
The changing of color over time reminds me of an iron gall ink...very interesting.
The shading on it...in the early and later stages of the ink...is just amazing!

Most welcome.
I'm not sure. I remember you posted it as a guess, while we were doing the mystery ink..... :)

Thans Detman.
Yeah, it's a pity those, long dry times.
Note that the last text, the ink has been in the pen for at least a month and it has evaporated. Hence the darker colour.

Ooooooohhh...okay, that makes sense. I thought it switched up color after a short period of time.
Noodlers inks...I've only tried two of them and due to their wetness, I pretty much wrote off the whole brand.
Lovely colors...but "runny" isn't my preferred default state for inks. If I need that I can add some 'Lightning' to any ink myself and get it looser/thinner/wetter.

Yeah, that makes sense, especially if you use wet pens.
Anyway this ink never dries, so it's pity...

Detman.. I realized that I had posted another scan by mistake. The dark ink, in question was Koh I Noor document ink. black, which is dark green black with sheen. I've corrected my post accordingly.
