Kaweco Sport vs. Wing Sung 3007
After a protracted bout of Pen/Ink/Paper Embargo-itis, I've been buying and using a LOT of inexpensive (okay, well...cheap!) Chinese pens. Here follows a hastily-scribbled pen comparison between the Kaweco Sport, and the Wing Sung 3007... which is almost a Sport lookalike:

The paper was a Kokuyo Campus notebook. Ink: Monteverde Malibu Blue.
Done via my usual new-pen routine: no flushing, no nothing. Wrote like a charm from the first touch of pen to paper. (Should mention that I've had the Sport for years now...only the four WS 3007s are new).
They're not quite up to Kaweco Sport standards, but for the price, I think they're neat little writers, and I will happily use them.

Good to know. I've been wondering about those.
Re: Kaweco Sport vs. Wing Sung 3007
Thanks for this review. I like the design of the Kaweco but I havent had any luck with them, I have owned 3 and all have suffered with really poor flow. I had ordered the Wing Sung a few days ago in a finish that is best described as antique gold, a bit of patina to it. It takes a month to get here but iot sounds like it is worth waiting for, and only $4 delivered.

If you get impatient, there's always Amazon. ;)

I have a brass one from another maker. Do you have any pictures of the nib?

Alas, no, but it's the WS Pilot-style nib and transparent feed, not the Lamylike nib-feed combo on the WS 3008 and 3009.
I can check the Amazon page to see if they give a view of the nibs.
Yes, they do.

The DELIKE version has an odd nib that I need to swap out. It almost looks like a Hebrew nib grind but with a really bad scratch that I can't seem to polish out to my liking. It may be I don't fully understand the nib geometry of the nib. I will probably swap it out but need to find a replacement. It seems smaller than a #5 nib.
