Looking for a Spare lever for my newcomer pen waterman's 513 vintage.
It is in great shape with a fantastic 14k nib but the Lever is broken and need a Jbar and a replacement of the sac which is I am receiving soon.
If anybody has this spare part or any informations how or where to get it? I very much appreciate helping me to get the lever and I am grateful and thank in advance.
You can get new J-bar that you can cut to size from pentooling.com.
The lever is trickier to find a replacement for especially if your pen has the Waterman's lever box, which is a metal frame that you can see surrounding the lever "hole" on the barrel. Some Waterman pens especially the lower priced ones do not have this lever box, instead if uses either a metal pin or the commonly used C-ring, making it slightly easier to find substitution lever from donor pens.
It certainly has a lever in a box and does not need a j bar.
My pen has a Liver box (Gold plated) I guess I need to find a done pen. A new sac. I think the J bar is in good condition. I have opened the nib unite and found the sac is very hard and broken into pieces. One big part is still trapped in the bottom between the bar. So I don't bother to do any thing else as I am waiting to get the tools and sac and Shellac resin.
