The summer that will not fully materialize:

Mountain Creek, Pine Grove Furnace State Park, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, close to the Appalachian Trail. This photo was taken standing on a wooden pedestrian bridge, using an iPhone 8 in Pano mode. The camera and image software in these devices continue to amaze me. There was substantial shake at the end of the panoramic sweep evident in the fuzziness in leaves on the right, but I expected it would be much more pronounced. The problem I have with these devices is controlling exposure to bring out sky and clouds. I am used to film and filters.

You tried Snapseed?
This summer is a rainy one. At least int he beginning, up to early July we get rain almost every week.
But it makes for some cool sunset!

Just arrived to Athens. Sun is still up and weather is warm. There is an awesome smell inside the woods and I feel kind of dizzy because of the strong smell. I'm watching the little boats for a while and trying to rest my head. Thanks to my father who has bought a property in Athens recently I will spend the summer in this heavenly environment :)

Three weeks left of summer. I was driving over a hill on a narrow lane in the orchards north of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania USA, when this view presented itself. I poked the iPhone8 out the window of the car and there was not much time for artful composition, but take my word for it, it was a gorgeous landscape.
