Spiderman - Far From Home.
My neighbor lent me Alita Battle Angel and Mortal Engines so those are next.
I just saw Spider-man into the Spiderverse on Netflix. Love the trippy animation.
Looking forward to this...

The Death of Stalin. Dark comedy approach to a historical event.
I saw Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw the other day. I didn't expect much, but I thought it was pretty good.

Snowpiercer. Tilda Swinton remains my favorite actress.
The Lake House, a 2005 movie that come up in my Netflix feed.
Involves letter writing.
We watched Green Book on Amazon and enjoyed it despite it not being a film from our usual genres. :thumb:
Re-watching the John Adams series. Top notch!
Just finished the 5 part Chernobyl series rented via Amazon.
Ad Astra with Brad Pitt and Tommy Lee Jones. I was attracted by the actors and the premise of a young astronaut sent to find his father who was last heard from on Neptune.
I found it to be tedious and the takeaway point (“We’re alone in the universe and so we should be nice.”) to be thin gruel at best.
Having some time over the holiday break gave me a chance to watch a few movies but I still have not gone to see Star Wars. Next week though. I did watch Ad Astra which is somewhere along the lines of Interstellar but I did not like the ending. I also watched Code 8, which I have been waiting for since the 2016 Youtube short-film.
Oh! forgot to add "The Beyond" which is another sci-fi movie that is free to watch on YouTube. Pretty good for a B movie.
We just finished watching The Lion King (2019 UHD 4K) that I bought for myself for Christmas. :) It was excellent. :)
I confess I never saw the earlier version, but, for me, the picture, sound and definition of the latest version was worth the price I paid. :)
